This!!! #truth! This quote came on during my run today while listening to a @rockmyrun mix. I’m pretty sure I actually said “YES!” out loud. Our bodies are built to do amazing things, and for too long I’ve let mine be my emotional dumping ground. A few months ago I’d never have dreamed to be running 4-5 miles at a time, let alone training for 13.1. But I got SO TIRED of giving up on me. I picked the one thing that has always been an “I can’t” in my life and decided to make it a “why not”. I may be slow. I may have a million excuses, but I’m taking care of the only body I have and in return it’s being good to me. Now I’m working on getting the eating back to clean again. Ready for it to cool down. Melting in the almost 100 degrees, but we got it done. I go a lot slower pushing the BOB outside, but my runs are more enjoyable and I don’t find myself fighting to get the miles like I do on the treadmill, so I’m fine with my #turtlepaced 15 minute miles! #betterthannothing #getitdone #running #halfmarathontraining #slowrunner #fitmom #activeliving #rethinkyourday #runthisbody #weightloss #fitfluential

3 miles run/walk #slowrunner plus stretching. Apparently Monday is “Manners Free” bc everyone seemed to leave theirs at home. Guy in front of me took 6 towels. The last 6 towels. Guy next to me was watching music videos on his phone with no headphones. (I could hear it over my headphones…) The lady next to him was blasting everyone with giant fart clouds. 😖💨👃and the lady behind me talked loudly on her cell the ENTIRE time. Day 9 #21daysugardetox feeling good. Busy day! Breakfast: 2 eggs, bacon, broccoli. Lunch: No picture sorry!! Turkey, almonds/cashews, green apple. Dinner: Bison tacos! I was super tired after a long day but this was pan to plate in 15 minute. Ground Bison seasoned with @flavorgod everything spice (best taco seasoning!), white and red onion, green and red peppers, mushrooms, organic salsa, avocado, and wrapped in bib lettuce! #21dsd #21dsdlevel3 #paleo #paleomeals #ffeats #ffcheckin #jerf
